SECOND HAND GOODS

This project involved creating a new B2C page for the sale of second-hand goods at Rakuten France. I worked collaboratively across various teams to design, develop, and implement a user-friendly platform that efficiently presented relevant information while integrating promotional content for clients.

CHALLENGE

We identified a need to improve the recruitment platform to better support recruiters. Over 50% of resume's were poorly processable due to structural issues, such as excessive or sparse content, improper formatting, missing key professional details, and disorganized work experience, skills, and education. These flaws made it hard for recruiters to evaluate candidates effectively, potentially causing strong candidates to be overlooked. We were concerned with three main metrics. Explore new business model, increase the volume of resume, Boost Figaro Emploi’s growth rate rapidly.

SOLUTION

We dedicated ourselves entirely to the development of this page, meticulously shaping every aspect of its functionality. Our journey involved a comprehensive process of conceptualizing, designing, and implementing various user flows. One of the key challenges we faced was establishing a solid information hierarchy — determining what should take center stage and what could remain in the background. We stayed focused on presenting only the most relevant information to users, ensuring that essential details were highlighted effectively. In addition, our close collaboration with the marketing team required us to optimize the display of promoted content for our clients.
