Insurance plan

The insurance plans and coverage options tool faced several key challenges. Firstly, the interface was not intuitive enough, making it difficult for users to navigate and understand the information presented. Additionally, there were redundancies in the options offered, which created confusion and slowed down the process of comparing coverage plans. Moreover, the design was not optimized for mobile, despite a significant number of users accessing the platform via their smartphones.

overview

The goal was to make the tool more intuitive and accessible, while improving the presentation of information. It was crucial to simplify the user experience by eliminating redundancies and clarifying the hierarchy of information. The interface also needed to be fully responsive to ensure a seamless mobile experience, which was essential for users.

Non-Responsive Design

challenge

The first step was to rethink the visual structure of the tool. I reorganized the information to make it clearer and more logical, removing redundancies and restructuring the different categories. The options were adjusted to be more distinct and easily comparable, with a focus on the key features of each plan and coverage option. For mobile optimization, I designed a responsive interface that ensured a consistent experience across all screen sizes. Elements like buttons and filters were redesigned to be easily accessible and clickable, even on smaller screens.

Results

The redesign led to a 30% decrease in bounce rates, indicating that users now find the tool easier to use and more understandable. Redundancies were eliminated, and the interface is now fully optimized for mobile. User feedback has shown a significant improvement in understanding the available plans and coverage options, as well as in the speed of decision-making.

The solution is now more efficient and meets the needs of users, whether they access it on desktop or mobile.
